Mass Transit Delivery and Format

UMI distributes mass transit data via web services, allowing customers to leverage Urban Mapping's geospatial platform. Transit data is SOAP-based and documentation offers code snippets and an easy-to-use technical demo. XML, PHP and Ruby.

UMI’s data architecture integrates with the Google Transit Feed Specification, allowing application developers to work seamlessly across multiple formats. Other formats, including APTA's TPIC, TransXchange, NaPTAN and Transmodel are also considered.
